games

When playing games the average age is somewhere between 30 to 37 years of age the websites that i found are http://www.theesa.com/facts/http://www.theesa.com/facts/gameplayer.asphttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_culture.

The next thing that I am going to talk about is the way of describing gamers by describing what a pro gamer is, what a newbie is, what a casual gamer is and what a retro gamer is. Firstly a pro gamer is someone who plays multiple games, but they also study the games like they would find cheat codes and another thing that pro gamers do is that they enter themselves or them and a friend in to a video game tournament, a newbie is a type of gamer that comes out of one genre of gaming like first person shooting and plays a fighting game like 'Mortal Kombat.' A casual gamer is someone who plays games, but not a lot. When a casual gamer plays a game the genre of that game could vary, meaning that it could be third person fighting to a puzzle game. And finally a retro gamer. A retro gamer is someone who plays or collects retro games and consoles like the Genesis or the Super Nintendo entertainment system .

When I play games I only play when I have finished practicing guitar. I practice guitar 95% of the time but that other 5% is me playing video games so I suppose this makes me a a casual gamer. When I do play games, the game that I mostly play is  'Assassin's Creed' the genre of this game is like historical fiction action. I have all the 'Assassin's Creed' games up to 'Assassin's Creed 3', and i have completed them. When I do play, the platform of gaming that I use is the 'Xbox 360.'  Mainly because that is the only console that I have that I can play these games on, but my gaming habits have definitely changed from when I was younger because when I was younger I had a Playstation and was on there everyday all the time. To be honest,  as I do not play a lot of games, I dont have a favourite genre of game so  I cannot really say what i like about them.

When I was younger my least favourite game genre would be brain solving games, the reason why  I dislike these style of games is because there is no action in the puzzles that you do, and you could be wasting time on playing a brain solving game than doing something important. My favourite game of all time would have to be 'Guitar Hero : Van Halen', mainly because I am a big Van Halen fan and a big guitar hero and player, and I suppose you put one and one together you get my favourite game. Whilst playing video games I have never been offended by anything so far. In my opinion all games should have an age limit on them because of the impact that the game has on kids under that age limit. I mean, if you get a thirteen year old kid who plays an eighteen aged game, that kid could copy all the same things that are depicted in that game.

Three examples of synergy in gaming would be that some games are based on movies, examples of this would be 'Alien vs Predator', 'Spiderman', 'Ghost Rider' and 'Transformers', and some movies are based on games -  'Resident Evil', 'Tomb Raider', 'Mortal Kombat' so the connection between movies and games is symbiotic. Other examples of synergy would be making figurines of the film and game -  examples of this would be 'Mario', 'Halo', 'Transformers' etc. some films are based on comic books as well like all of the DC comics like 'Batman', 'Superman' or the Marvel franchise like 'Spiderman.' Fantastic 4.
