the little beggar video
In the video of the Little Beggar, I was given a plain copy of the film that lasted 30 seconds, the video itself had no music or anything else on it. I had to rebuild the music and soundtrack from scratch. What I did is that I went on to 'youtube' to collect sounds like coins being rattled, scary footsteps as well (this was foley sound), when doing this task instead of doing this on Garageband I did it on Logic Pro, mainly because I find it easier to use when doing work like this. When I got all the sounds and then uploaded them up I had to automate them so there was a slight touch of reverb on the sounds and whilst automating them I managed to make the music in the background quiet so it didn't climb over the rest of the video and sounds, which would spoil and ruin all of my work, to make the reverb louder on my sounds I would have to mix it by either decreasing or increasing how much tone and reverb I want on it, and to do this I would go on to logic then go into mixer and then click on which sound I want to increase or decrease the reverb on. As well with the automation on Logic I used it to make the volume of the music quiet so it would be work on the track, plus I could make the music fade out, which is quite cool, at the end by picking the point I want to start the fade out and where the fade out should end.
